Westway Ride is aware that it is a priority for the safety of travellers. When it comes to children travelling in a chauffeur-driven vehicle, we are more concerned. This is the reason we provide child seats and booster seats for any families who are booking with us to or from airports and London city tours.

What Is a Child Seat? 

A child seat is a specific type of seat designed to protect small children and babies from any harm in a car. These seats are rear-facing for babies up to about when they are around 1 year old. With your child’s growth, the seat can be swivelled to a forward-looking position until they reach the maximum weight or height allowed.

What is a Car Seat, a Booster Seat?

A booster seat is used for older children who have outgrown their forward-facing child seat but are still too small for the seat belts to fit them properly. Booster seats raise the child up to get the seat belt to sit in the correct places on him/her for maximum safety.

Why Use car seats and booster seats? 

A child of the right age and weight with a car seat or booster seat will experience significantly reduced crash injuries. The seats are designed in a way to distribute the force of a crash all over the child and keep them safely fastened. Vehicle seat belts may not be as effective for little children who are in a fixed position compared to the car seat.

We will have the appropriate car seat installed and already available for the child’s safe transports. Several seats can be arranged for the families who have more than one kid.
